           Everyone has an Amazing Story

Mary Genara is a very special woman who was an example of hope and love. She was someone special when she was child their parents spoiled her always as well as she was the best dressed with nice colours coats. Her mother was nurse and his father builder from small town called Paipa in the borough of Boyaca.  At the age of fourteen year her mother died as consequence of asthma and his father was tragically hit by a tram. She lived alone for while in her house.

 

One morning, she thinks of suicide jumping on the rails of train however, after some seconds she felt God in her heart so just started to run way to the church where she prayed leaving her quiet her soul in the hands of the heavenly Father. So came back home and organizing her things she sadness look to their parents' room and suddenly between her stress and deep sorrow for a while such a vision she saw her mother looking at her near the bed so in this moment of confusion and excitement was so difficult that she fainted for a some minutes and when she awoke and began to clean that room curiously in the mattress found a small hole where introduced her hand there was a roll of notes, money.

 

Days later, she packed her bags and accompanied by two cousins went to the capital to start a new life. They arrived on July 20 to Bogota where she continued her studies at Catholic school and there the prayers and nuns supported and taught a little of everything including sewing. And there was the place where she would find her truly loves "José Antonio" who would accompany for over sixty years as her husband. They had nine children, five boys and four girls.

 

She was a woman with courage, ideas and decision. She found solution to every problem so like to open a shop in the area of Bello horizon for help her husband with the expenses because despite of her husband work with the government as a builder that wasn’t enough incomes to the family. Unfortunately, after a while she closed the shop because she will start to work with a businessman of lands.

 

Mr. Lopez was owner of lands and fields in the south of the city who will be the boss of her. She would start managing the staff and administration management and then additional land sales company she became an excellent worker. However, she had some conflicts at home because of few spent time and duties with her family spite of she had an employee who was helping with the housework was not enough such even for her children that for the first two months of life they were breastfeeding in a small hammock in her office.

 

The Perdomo was a small town where almost all the people were staff of Mr. Lopez Company. There were a few houses, surrounded by camps made of metal for staff of less resource and in the middle of the town were two offices made of brick and painted of white. So there, she directed and managed the company. Who was so important and respected by their neighbours, close friend of the priest and the borough president of the town. Usually, she was consulted about any decision to take in relation with the area.

 

José Antonio, her husband built his house with a lot of love for her and their children where they would spend happy moments like to Christmas sharing with neighbours especially their children by offering gifts, sweets and a nice snack. She was the light of her home where her husband was a great support to her and despite of the big family there were always their love.

 

After a long worked day, she took a pill for headache which digested with a glass of spirit “hotwater” that caused her a stroke while she was sleeping that affected the optic nerve of the eyes. One month recovery and despite that they searched the best specialist doctors that was in vain. The doctor Baraquer told her that she never would see again. Times were so difficult for her and family however her husband was always with her who him indulging, spoiling and giving her love as well as their children.

Now, she would not leave her house very often only for important things like visit the doctor or institution for the blind people where she learnt to manage money and get out with the walking stick.

 

So terrible, so painful who was an independent person that do everything by herself and without see nothing even a ray of light. Therefore she fell into a deep depression as consequence started to eat much more than the normal. Every day began to be dark so in the mornings she didn’t want to get up however, Jose Antonio sent her to the kitchen to leave the dishes then walk down to the hall after a large yard of her new house which they had acquired only just to some steps in front of the little one that they had.

 

He looked after her at all the time, he protected, was her eyes who pampered and motivated bringing her small gifts which hidden in his pants when he got home. It was a deep love that he and his sons kept alive despite of her darkness.

 

Adaptation, after a while she adapted to her situation of not being able to see who wanted enjoy more her family and give happiness to them in every moment of life. Over some the years after, she's dancing with her husband, their sons, and daughter’s husbands who is singing and laughing with a magical sweetness that made her shines in family and him quiet always close to her helping and giving his hand. It was a couple who despite of all difficulties always they helped together for the worst and the best.

 

Few years then, she changed their eating and exercise habits as a consequence of diabetes. However, she would have time to celebrate their Golden wedding with her ​​husband, who she loved all this time and despite she couldn’t see. she was take care that he was well attended sometimes her strong voice was heard calling to serve him food that he had his clothes ready and as well as she was aware like he looked by her feelings or in occasions by the woman that help them at home.

 

He didn’t want that she die first than him, she was his life so unfortunately, he had a heart attack on September 20 and four years later in the same day and month by natural death Mary Genara didn’t woke up more and finally their souls will be again together forever.
